Class Descriptions

Beginners/Basics Hatha
A gentle class for beginners and for those who enjoy a slower paced practice. Offering a full range of poses, breathing, deep relaxation and meditation. All welcome regardless of age or ability.

Multi-level Hatha
For beginners and continuing students in good physical condition. A range of poses will be presented, including preparation for vinyasa, or flow sequences. Suggestions will be offered to support each participant in modifying the level of challenge, and encouraging them to work within their individual capacity with effort but no strain.

Moderate Hatha – A class for experienced yoga students in good physical condition who want to focus on increased strength and stamina while exploring more advanced postures.

Moderate to Vigorous Hatha
A class designed for those with an established Hatha yoga practice and ready to explore more demanding poses, including more dynamic and challenging vinyasa, or flow sequence.

Restorative Yoga
A gentle and healing class where the body is held in different poses while you gently let go. Using blankets, bolsters and props, the body remains in the poses without any effort, creating a quiet, soothing and deeply relaxing experience.  You will feel like you took a mini-vacation after the class. No prior Yoga experience required, suitable for all levels and particularly for those looking for a deeply restful and relaxing experience.

Meditation – Vipassana/ Insight
Sitting meditation and discussion. Open to all, beginners welcome. No fee, by offering (Dana).
