TARA
Tara
as the Goddess of Earth is interconnected with humans, plants, and
animals. The word Tara is etymologically rooted in the word "star",
but the most popular meaning of "Tara" is "she who
saves", or "saviouress". She represents the feminine
attributes in all of us and invoking her can help us meditate and
achieve a higher state of awareness. Tara protects from the eight
inner fears which affect us all: pride, delusion, anger, envy, wrong
views, avarice, attachment, and doubt. She also helps us in dealing
with inner negative emotions.
